Ratings Analyse vom WON:
AEW Dynamite did its lowest 18-49 number ever in its regular time slot going unopposed on 11/30.
The show did 870,000 viewers with an 0.26 (344,000 viewers) in 18-49 and 0.20 in 18-34.
The last time AEW did under 344,000 viewers in 18-49 for a regular show in the time slot was March 31, 2021, when it was still opposed by NXT.
The irony is that the week before, the show did its best numbers in months with men 35-49, and this week it did disastrous numbers there, and not particularly good with women 18-34 but normal in the other two key demos.
We don’t have the charts or rankings at press time but it was believed to have been fourth for the day on cable.
The show was down 1.1 percent in viewers from the show the night before Thanksgiving, but down 18.3 percent in 18-49 and down 13.9 percent in 18-34.
The show did 104,000 viewers in males 18-34 (down 20.0 percent from last week but still above usual numbers), 39,000 in women 18-34 (up 8.3 percent but still well below usual numbers), 136,000 in men 35-49 (down 29.9 percent from last week) and 65,000 in women 35-49 (up 6.6 percent).
The audience was 69.8 percent male in 18-49.
As compared to one year ago, the show was up 1.0 percent in viewers, down 15.3 percent in 18-49 (the huge male 35-49 drop) and up 13.5 percent in 18-34.
Factoring in homes lost, the real percentage movement would be up 5.6 percent in viewers, down 11.6 percent in 18-49 and up 18.3 percent in 18-34.
The quarters showed a steady decline and the third Death Triangle vs. Elite trios match did not do well in the main event spot.
It opened at 1,030,000 viewers and 389,000 in 18-49 for the Moxley and Adam Page angle and start of Bryan Danielson vs. Dax Harwood.
Danielson vs. Harwood and a Ricky Starks promo did 877,000 viewers and 346,000 in 18-49.
The backstage segment with the JAS and Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta, Samoa Joe vs. AR Fox and the post-match did 869,000 viewers and 355,000 in 18-49.
The MJF & William Regal angle did 889,000 viewers and 364,000 in 18-49.
The continuation of MJF & Regal, with the ambulance and Danielson Ricky Stars vs. Ari Daivari and Ethan Page, Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker promos did 869,000 viewers and 346,000 in 18-49.
Anna Jay vs. Willow Nightingale and Ruby Soho return, plus Orange Cassidy and QT Marshall backstage did 838,000 viewers and 324,000 in 18-49.
Promos by Jade Cargill and Billy Gunn & The Acclaimed and start of The Elite vs. Death Triangle did 801,000 viewers and 323,000 in 18-49.
The actual main event trios match did 792,000 viewers and 313,000 in 18-49.
