Impact Debut Rating 10/1/05
The debut edition of TNA Impact on Spike TV did a 0.8 cable rating, with a 1.6 share. One source at Spike TV declared it was a "strong start" for the show. The show scored a 0.7 for the male 19-49 demographic.
The audience average on Saturday was 850,000 viewers. In comparing the rating to WWE's Velocity from a year ago, TNA were viewed in 105% more those viewers. The show was up +192% in males 18-49, and 294% in Males 18-34. The average audience was 107% higher.
When comparing TNA to WWE Velocity four months ago, TNA was viewed in 44% more homes. TNA was up 52% in Males 18-49, 45% in Males 18-34 an 34% higher average audience.
Impact Monday Replay Rating 10/3
The Monday evening replay of Impact, which followed The Ultimate Fighter 2, scored a 0.5 rating. That has to be considered something of a letdown, although Spike TV was happy with TNA's performance this week overall. One source stated that the network was, "happy with the entire evening - and TNA was a part of that."
The show scored a .9 among males 18-34 years old with 485,000 viewers. For Males 18-49, the show did a .6.
