Das stimmt nicht.
Auch das hat er im Podcast gesagt, auch wenn er es nicht wollte.
Callahan wurde gefeuert, da er in einem Match als Producer gearbeitet hat und es versaut hat.
Er hat mit seinem Gegner ohne Absprache außerhalb des Rings geworkt, sprich die Security wusste nicht Bescheid.
Dabei wurden Teile der Halle beschädig, die Arena war gerade erst eröffnet wurden und alles war neu.
Zusätzlich war nichts mit der Prodution abgesprochen, sodass viele Spots von den Kamera verfehlt wurden.
-> Das Match hat es nicht mal in TV geschafft.
Die Wasserspuckattacke (obwohl Cornette ihn hasst, war er damit vollkommen ok) hat damit eigentlich nichts zutun.
Nachdem Match ist Cornette Backstage zu ihm gegangen und hat gesagt, dass es in Ordnung war und er kein Problem hat mit ihm zuarbeiten.
Kurz davor hat man Callahan entlassen.

Eigentlich lobt er AEW auch an vielen Stellen, aber sein Hass auf Leute wie Omega ist aber total übertrieben. Ich mein die Bucks, Orange Cassidy oder Joey Ryan verstehe ich ja wegen der Gimmicks und der Spotfests, aber Omega und Ibushi scheint er ja nur wegen der Matches gg die Gummipuppe zu hassen und das färbt jede Kritik an Omegas anderen Taten. Aber eins muss ich schreiben, Omega muss wieder weg vom mega Babyface und zurück in Cleaner-Richtung. Momentan ist er mir oft zu goofy. Die Promo gg Moxley nach dessem Ausfall war schon ein guter Schritt.
Und er kritisiert halt Sachen an Matches und Booking, die er besser verstehen würde, wenn er BTE und Road To gucken würde, das sind halt noch die Weeklys bei AEW.
Im Podcast gibt er halt zu, dass er bisher kaum NXT geguckt hat, weil er nicht am PC gucken will oder Network nicht bezahlen will, iwie ne Mischung aus beiden. Das finde ich schon etwas sehr "alter Mann"-mäßig.
Die Zahl der Comedy-Wrestler bei AEW ist jetzt auch hoch genug.

So me going for the title makes all the sense in the world. But it may not end up being me versus Chris Jericho. Because Chris Jericho still has a title defense before that in Philadelphia. And it may not be me if I take a loss to Sammy Guevara on the premiere episode. I think Chris Jericho is probably going to get through his first title defense, but if he doesn't we're going to stick to our word about win/loss records being a deciding factor. It's really about the data and who has the best record."

Cody deutet einen möglichen neuen Title an:
"There's a title we're considering," Rhodes stated, "and it's something people can probably guess since we're going to be on TV, hint hint, but there are no plans for it at the moment. Right now we revolve around the AEW Championship and in D.C. we're going to name the first ever AEW Women's Champion, and that's such a beautiful belt. I don't know if people know, up close, that rose gold is layered into it. Brandi, Kenny Omega, and Tony did a great job getting that title. There's going to be some guidelines laid out for whoever wins that title though," he laughed. "Some guidelines about how they're supposed to take care of it."
