We’re finding now the people that are going to help move this ship forward and there are the people that you always knew that never fail. A guy like Chris Jericho is never going to fail because he’s a proven star. A guy like Jon Moxley ofcourse, proven star. And I've sat back and I've watched a little bit and I've helped work at stadium stampede, huge success, tag match revolution big success. I was really proud of my iron match with PAC.
These are things that I feel that I gave a piece of Kenny Omega to AEW from that. But I don’t feel it’s been consistent because I’ve had my focuses elsewhere. You know, helping someone like Hikaru Shida become a star and now everyone knows who she is and now she’s a great woman’s champion for the company… So now I feel like I’ve sat back and I’ve watched long enough, and maybe now it’s time to show people just a taste, if not a little more than a taste, a healthy mouthful of why I was hired in AEW to begin with.
Why am I here? Why was I one of the original EVPs? Why was I one of the guys in one of the greatest tag matches ever? Why was I in the stadium stampede? Why was I the guy chosen for this iron man match that went 30 minutes? There’s a reason and some people don’t know why that is because they tune in week in and week out and I’m not on every episode. I think it’s almost time to step back into that prominent role, almost. But i don’t know, we’ll see, we got a tournament coming up...
