    Major League Wrestling gab folgendes bekannt:


    SPIRIT SQUAD hält am 25.07.21019 ein OPEN WORKOUT im Zusammenhang mit der NYC Show ab.


    Kenn Doane and Mike Mondo haben sich Major League Wrestling angeschlossen und sie wollen den Zuschauern die Ehre mit einem "open-to-the-public workout" erweisen.


    Das talentierte Team wird dem Publikum Athletik, Grappling, Ausdauer, Schnelligkeit und Kraft demonstrieren.


    The Spirit Squad hat ebenfalls die Presse eingeladen, damit diese über das "Open Workout" berichtet.

  • MLW arbeitet zukünftig mit Japan’s Pro Wrestling NOAH zusammen:


    "Major League Wrestling has entered into an official working relationship with Japan’s Pro Wrestling NOAH, PWInsider.com has confirmed.


    The two sides locked in the deal three weeks ago when MLW President Court Bauer was in Japan but the roots of the. The rootsof the relationship began when Minoru Tanaka came over to the United States to work a few dates for MLW this past April.


    Talents from each group will work with the other and tour for the other promotion.


    The idea behind the relationship to give MLW and NOAH talents additional dates and a chance to grow and improve as talents by touring in Japan and the United States, respectively."

    Ich liebe NOAH weshalb mich diese Neuigkeit sehr erfreut. Wenn man die "Puros" genauso gut in die Shows involviert wie die Luchadores, dann sollte das ein Erfolg werden.

  • So eben die aktuelle Episode nachgeholt und für mich als Lucha Libre Fan ist es immer wieder klasse und praktisch, wie gut MLW die Latinos einsetzt.
    Egal ob AAA, CMLL, The Crash...ein Großteil der Luchadores sind mir ein Begriff aber die Zeit lässt es nicht zu, noch mehr Wrestling anzuschauen. Deshalb ist es umso praktischer, dass MLW immer wieder Top-Namen aus Mexiko verpflichtet.

  • Major League Wrestling has announced a new partnership with FITE TV which will see FITE distributing MLW’s PPVs worldwide, starting with their first: Saturday Night Superfight on November 2. Here’s a press release:


    MLW AND FITE TV ANNOUNCE NEW PAY-PER-VIEW DISTRIBUTION PARTNERSHIP TO STREAM MLW PPVS WORLDWIDE


    NEW YORK – MLW® today announced a new digital partnership with combat sports network FITE TV, to stream Major League Wrestling’s Pay-Per-View events on its streaming platform to customers throughout the world.


    The partnership launches on Saturday, November 2, in conjunction with MLW Saturday SuperFight, live from Cicero Stadium in Chicago.


    Fight fans will be able to stream the highly-anticipated event live via the network’s FITE app and through its website FITE.TV. Customers who utilize this app are also able to cast all FITE programming on any television that connects to WIFI for a premium viewing experience. The FITE app is available on Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV and any Android or Apple mobile applications.


    As the leading independent over-the-top combat sports service provider, FITE has 1.5 million registered users of the digital platform. FITE has streamed more than 2,200 live combat sports events since launching in February of 2016. The global streaming platform also boasts over 25,000 hours of on-demand content that includes weekly programming in the form of shows, instructional videos and documentaries featuring mixed martial arts, boxing and pro wrestling.


    FITE TV will offer MLW Saturday Night SuperFight, the global brand’s first-ever event Pay-Per-View, to customers for $19.95 through its app and online atFITE.tv, with pre-ordering beginning on Friday September 20.


    The platforms app is available for free download at the Google Play andiTunes App Store.

  • Ich bin ja echt gespannt, mit welchem Setup MLW in den PPV gehen will. Beim aktuellen Aufbau von Contra und vor allem Fatu geht man ja scheinbar davon aus, dass er noch eine Weile bleiben wird. Naja, für die War Chamber dann wohl Team Filthy vs. Contra Unit. :)


    Komme zwar erst jetzt dazu, etwas zu posten, schaue aber auch schon eine Weile mit. Auch wenn es hier und da mal krasse Produktionsfehler (vor allem bei den Lautstärkepegeln) gibt, MLW weiß mir zu gefallen und ich finde es faszinierend, wie man es schafft, fast jedes einzelne aufgezeichnete Match mit einem Aufbau auszustatten. Vor allem den Aufbau für Low Ki vs. Tom Lawlor im Februar fand ich richtig stark - so macht man das, WWE!

  • Wie finanziert sich MLW eigentlich? Ticketverkäufe, Merch, Sponsoren und sonst? Die Zahl der Youtube-Klicks ist ja relativ gering. Ich habe auch keine Ahnung, ob höhere Klickzahlen eine nennenswerte Einkommensquelle für eine Wrestlingliga sein können. Weiß man, ob MLW schwarze Zahlen schreibt? Teile des Personals dürften ja nicht allzu günstig sein.

  • Mal zur aktuellen Ausgabe:


    Bestia 666 vs Rey Hourus: War gut, Bestia 666 gefällt mir gut. Der Sieg über Rey tut ihm gut und Rey nicht all zu weh. Match war anständig .


    Das Contra Match war nix, diente aber auch nur zur Stärkung der Unit vor dem War Chamber.
    Der neue Contra Man sieht erst mal interessant aus. Mal sehen was Tom noch aus dem Hut zaubert.


    Das Dynastie und Hart Foundaition Segment war dann von beiden gut, aber Teddy braucht ne neue Socke ^^


    Mance Warner hat einen Masterplan ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^


    Der Mainer zwischen Hammerstone und Vega war dann halt da. Fand ich nicht so toll. Hammerstone verteidigt und Pillmann JR klaut seine Jacke ^^


    Die nächste Ausgabe klingt dafür mega interessant mit den bereits angesetzten Matches:thumbup:
