  • Suspended TNA star Thomas "Bram" Latimer has plead not guilty on charges of domestic battery with strangulation and forced imprisonment and is scheduled for a hearing on 9/21. There is a hearing Monday regarding the order where Latimer is not allowed to have contact with the victim and his bond.

Kris Travis, who appeared in the second season of TNA British Bootcamp, is currently hospitalized. Travis had major surgery on his stomach after being diagnosed with stomach cancer and had a good portion of his stomach removed. Travis worked his way back to the ring and has wrestled a few times but began feeling terrible cramps and is currently undergoing tests. Our best wishes go out to him

  • PWInsider reports that the recent deal that saw Jeff Jarrett return to TV in the TNA storylines included Dixie Carter buying Jarrett out of his minority ownership of TNA. The deal also included Jarrett's Hall of Fame induction, promotion for Global Force Wrestling and GFW having the rights to book TNA talents.

PWInsider notes that the Jarrett deal was put together just a few days before the Jarretts cut their Impact promo back in June. The deal was precipitated by TNA and allows for both sides to part ways on good terms. Dixie and parent company Panda Energy get complete ownership of the company while Jarrett gets bought out and receives some perks for GFW. TNA can now make any moves they want without having to worry about Jarrett's minority shares coming back to get in the way.

  • Zitat

I think it's pretty obvious that something is at play here that has yet to be revealed. I was told by one source that there was "something" Carter wanted to do but needed Jarrett's shares in order to do it, hence the deal that was cut for his ownership stake. What that is, I can't tell you. Carter remains adamant that the company is not shutting down, so what is going here is still, really, yet to be revealed. There are obviously people concerned within the company, but they are also hopeful things will turn around in time. We shall see. As far as TV, the company has a LOT of house shows and I wouldn't be shocked to see them taping "on the road" the way that ROH does at times.

Also was da noch passiert, bleibt wirklich abzuwarten.
