Wie WWE.com nun bestätigte, wurde A.W. (Abraham Washington) am Freitag von seinem WWE-Vertrag entlassen. Abraham Washington debütierte vor einigen Jahren in der WWE-Version der ECW und wurde nach dem Start von NXT weiterhin bei Florida Championship Wrestling eingesetzt. Vor einigen Monaten debütierte er als "A.W." bei Monday Night RAW als Agent. Nach einem Turn zu den Prime Time Players fand bei der RAW-Ausgabe vom 06.08.2012 ein verbaler Aussetzer von Washington statt, als er in einem Match zwischen Titus O'Neil und Kofi Kingston "Titus ist unhaltsam wie Kobe Bryant in einem Hotel in Colorado", schrie. Trotz dieser kontroversen Aussage (Bryant wurde 2003 wegen einer Vergewaltigung angezeigt), wurde A.W. weiterhin im WWE TV gezeigt. Zuletzt war Washington bei der heutigen Friday Night SmackDown Ausgabe zu sehen, als er seine Schützlinge zum Ring begleitete.
Mittlerweile hat sich auch Abraham Washington zu seiner Entlassung geäußert:
