Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Sid Vicious ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. There's a two count on the pin. Bodyslam by Sid. There's a two count on the pin. Sid walks into a drop toe hold. Scott Steiner connects with rights and lefts and Sid Vicious is down! Covers for a quick two count. Spinebuster by Scott Steiner. Sid flips out of a Scott Steiner bodyslam attempt. High Angle DDT by Sid Vicious just SPIKES Scott Steiner down! Dan Spivey comes running down the aisle with a chair! Sid whips Scott Steiner into the ropes. Spivey jumps onto the apron with the chair! Collision between Spivey, Scott, and the chair! Scott Steiner staggers back into a roll up! 1...2...3! It's over! Sid and Spivey are beating the hell out of Scott Steiner! Rick Steiner sprints down the aisle and slides into the ring! He goes toe-to-toe with Sid Vicious, exchanging punches, while Scott Steiner comes back, sending Spivey out of the ring with a clothesline. The Steiner Brothers have cleared the ring, driving off Sid and Spivey!
My Opinion: A wise man once said 'Can I get a side of bland with that bland'. He's dead now, though. That's what this match was...bland. **

Flair and Double A are in the ring. Sting and Luger come out onto the sound stage, and issue a challenge for a match tonight. Flair and Double A accept, and the two teams trade insults for a while before leaving.
Brian Pillman vs Z-Man
Z-Man is the reigning WCW Television champion. Brian Pillman kicks the leg, knocks Z-Man down, and goes to work on it. Pillman just WAFFLES Z-Man with a STIFF chop that hurt ME to watch! Hard back suplex on Z-Man. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Flying elbow from Brian Pillman connects. Pillman goes for a splash but Z-Man puts the knees up. Second rope flying axe handle, Pillman goes down. One day, Z-Man might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Lightning kick by Z-Man on Pillman. Covers for a quick two count. Z-Man walks into a drop toe hold. Pillman crushes Z-Man with a running senton. There's a two count on the pin. Vicious kick to the teeth from Brian Pillman. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Z-Man comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Z-Man connects with a back heel kick on Pillman and gets back up quickly. Brian Pillman is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Second rope flying axe handle, Z-Man goes down. One day, Pillman might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Bobby Eaton just slid into the ring out of nowhere! Eaton has a chair, and drops Pillman and Z-Man with devastating blows, causing the referee to call for the bell. This match has been ruled a no contest! Pillman and Z-Man tie Bobby Eaton up in the ropes, then start punching away at him until referees run down and break it up.
My Opinion: Let me practice my math. 13 quarter stars equal a ***1\4 rating, right? Yeah, it does. That's what you get.
Winner: Draw
El Gigante is walking backstage when Kevin Sullivan comes from behind and attacks him with a chair. Kevin Sullivan walks off after hitting a few more chair shots, leaving El Gigante down on the floor.
Sting and Luger vs Flair and Double A
Flair and Double A are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. Sting is the reigning WCW World champion. Lex Luger is the reigning WCW United States champion. Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Lex Luger ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. Running knee lift from Lex Luger. There's a two count on the pin. Flair reverses a waistlock. Lex Luger takes a butterfly suplex from Flair. T-Bone suplex by Flair, Luger got folded in half to the point that he was almost able to fellate himself. Mighty impressive, don't you think? Tag between Ric Flair and Arn Anderson. Brutal sit out powerbomb on Luger! Anderson walks into a drop toe hold. Luger tags out to Sting. Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Sting ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. Bodyslam by Sting. There's a two count on the pin. Sting hits a piledriver on Arn Anderson. That used to end matches, you know. Tag between Sting and Lex Luger. Brutal sit out powerbomb on Anderson! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Arn Anderson reverses a hip toss. Arn Anderson with a spinning neckbreaker on Luger. Anderson tags out to Ric Flair. A Gut buster connects on Luger and hits hard. Lex Luger grabs Ric Flair from behind and shoves him into the ropes, then scores with a roll-up...but Flair rolls through with the move! He is using the tights for leverage! 1....2...3! The referee didn't see it! Sting and Luger look like they aren't done...and they attack Flair and Double A! After an exchange of blows, Flair and Anderson are laid out in the ring.
My Opinion: They definitely need to hook up again, I don't care what anyone says. ***1\2

Harley Race comes out from the back, making his debut tonight. He takes the microphone and makes it clear that he is in a position of power.
Arn Anderson vs. Sting
Sting is the reigning WCW World champion. Spear by Sting. Powerbomb on Anderson. Death valley driver by Sting! No one executes that move properly anymore. Pin, but Anderson is out just before the three count. Fallaway slam by Sting puts down Arn Anderson. Covers for a quick two count. Sting drops an elbow...but Arn Anderson moves out of the way. Arn Anderson with a spinning neckbreaker on Sting. Gutwrench into a powerbomb, aka the Doctor Bomb and Sting hits hard. Anderson charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Sting hits a bulldog off the ropes. Arn Anderson can barely stand. Stinger Splash! 1....2....3. Ric Flair comes running down the aisle, and gets into the ring! Ric Flair drops Sting to the canvas. Ric Flair quickly locks on the Figure Four Leglock! Sting has been left down on the canvas.
My Opinion: Solid bout, but they could do a lot better. ***

Kevin Sullivan is walking backstage when he is spotted by El Gigante, who attacks. They brawl around the arena for a while, until El Gigante gets a clear upper hand and sends Sullivan into retreat.
Barry Windham is backstage. He got on THE STICK~! and spent the interview putting himself over.
Z-Man and Stan Hansen vs. Bobby Eaton and Brian Pillman
Z-Man is the reigning WCW Television champion. Hansen strikes away at Bobby Eaton, not doing much damage at all. Stan Hansen hits a right hand on Bobby Eaton. Hooks the leg for a two count. Bobby Eaton pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Dropkick connects to the butt of the jaw and Hansen goes down. Flying reverse elbow by Bobby Eaton. Eaton tags out to Brian Pillman. Pillman uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! Hansen powers out of a headlock. Tag between Stan Hansen and Z-Man. Hansen \ Z-Man whip Pillman into the corner. Stan Hansen whips Z-Man in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. Z-Man hits a rolling kick on Pillman. Konnan has ruined any chance for me ever enjoying this maneuver again with his shitty execution of it. Hooks the leg for a two count. Z-Man crushes Pillman with a running senton. Tag between Z-Man and Stan Hansen. Side suplex from Hansen. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Stan Hansen misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Pillman tags out to Bobby Eaton. Flying elbow from Bobby Eaton connects. Bobby Eaton has Stan Hansen down on the canvas and is ascending the corner. Alabama Jam!!! 1....2....3!! It's all over. Hansen \ Z-Man look like they aren't done...and they attack Eaton \ Pillman! After an exchange of blows, Eaton and Pillman are laid out in the ring.

Kevin Sullivan comes out from the back, accompanied by a midget who is dressed to look like El Gigante. They enter the ring, and proceed to cut an insulting interview. El Gigante comes running out and hits the ring. The midget runs for cover as they brawl all around the ring, and out to ringside. Referees and other wrestlers have to come out and pull them apart.
Teddy Long is backstage with Doom. Teddy Long was out there to rip into The Rock'N'Roll Express.
The Fabulous Freebirds vs. Doom
The Fabulous Freebirds are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion. Doom are the reigning WCW Tag Team champions. Butch Reed with a badly-executed spinning neckbreaker on Garvin. One more performed that badly and this match will end on a bad note, if you get my drift. Powerslam from Butch Reed on Garvin. Hooks the leg for a two count. Reed tags out to Ron Simmons. Ron Simmons scoops up Garvin. Reed bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. Ron Simmons with a spinning neckbreaker on Garvin. There's a two count on the pin. Garvin gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Garvin flips out of a Ron Simmons bodyslam attempt. Jimmy Garvin scores with a poor standing spinebuster. Tag between Jimmy Garvin and Michael PS Hayes. Michael PS Hayes strikes Ron Simmons with a hard blow. Michael PS Hayes hits an ugly looking bulldog off the ropes. Ron Simmons powers out of a Michael PS Hayes headlock. Simmons tags out to Butch Reed. Powerslam from Butch Reed on Hayes. Side suplex from Reed. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Butch Reed hits Hayes. Hayes reverses a Butch Reed hammerlock. Michael PS Hayes hits a sloppy double axe handle off the top. As Garvin and Reed get into a brawl on the outside, Ricky Morton comes running down into the ring! Morton has a chair, and drops Hayes and Reed with devastating blows, causing the referee to call for the bell. This match has been ruled a no contest! We have a three-way stand off in the ring, as The Fabulous Freebirds, Doom and The Rock'N'Roll Express look at each other. They all charge forward, and a three-way brawl erupts in the ring! Security and a pile of referees hit the ring to stop the carnage.
My Opinion: Smack dab in the middle of the star spectrum for an average match. **1\2.

The Skyscrapers are in the ring. Out from the back come The Steiner Brothers, and they hit the ring. Spivey and Sid get out of there quickly, not wanting to fight.
Lex Luger vs. Ric Flair
Lex Luger is the reigning WCW United States champion. Luger walks into a stiff sit-out jaw breaker. Ric Flair nearly kills Luger with a released tiger suplex. Luger gets hit with a running Splash Mountain out of the corner! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Big dropkick by Ric Flair, who got a ton of air on the move. Covers for a quick two count. Lex Luger elbows Ric Flair in the face to break a hammerlock. Fallaway slam by Lex Luger puts down Ric Flair. Nice piledriver on Flair. Ric Flair powers out of a Lex Luger headlock. Tiger bomb by Ric Flair, executed to perfection. We don't see too many good looking Tiger bombs. Arn Anderson comes running down the aisle and into the ring! Lex Luger turns around. Arn Anderson spins Luger around. Arn Anderson hits the Spinebuster! Anderson leaves the ring, the damage done! The ref gets into position, administers the three count, and it's over. Ric Flair pins Luger. Flair and Anderson are beating the hell out of Lex Luger! Sting sprints down the aisle and slides into the ring! He goes toe-to-toe with Ric Flair, exchanging punches, while Lex Luger comes back, sending Anderson out of the ring with a clothesline. Sting and Luger have cleared the ring, driving off Flair and Anderson!
My Opinion: I'll give this a ***1\4 rating. If I left it up to you, you'd probably think it was the greatest match ever! Keep trying...

If Spike Lee can sue TNN over the Spike TV nonsense, then Kurt Angle should be able to sue SOMEONE for that. Doctor Bomb connects and El Gigante landed hard. El Gigante counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! El Gigante hits a bulldog off the ropes. El Gigante floors Larry Zbyszko. Larry Zbyszko gets locked in the The Claw! Submission victory! Barry Windham comes running down the aisle with a chair, and gets into the ring! Windham hits El Gigante with a chair to the back! El Gigante goes down to the canvas, hurt.
My Opinion: DUD. That's about all I can say without getting into obsenities.

**** News Flash ****
Eigentlich sollte bei WCW Starrcade El Gigante auf Kevin Sullivan treffen, dieser Plan wurde nun auf Eis gelegt. Grund dafür ist das Kevin Sullivan während eines Interviews bei einem Radio Sender schlecht über das Backstage Klima und viele Kollegen geredet hat. Das Management suspendierte ihn daraufhin für einen Monat.
Vergangenen Samstag erreichte WCW World Wide Wrestling auf dem Local Network ein Rating von 0.04 Punkten. Das selbe Rating konnte man auch in dieser Woche einfahren. Die Saturday Night Ausgabe von WCW auf TBS erreichte hingegen ein starkes Rating von 3.23 Punkten, blieb aber trotzdem noch weit hinter dem der World Wrestling Federation.

Dafür durfte jetzt Hansen tatsächlich El Gigante besiegen  ... Na, der Hansen ist im Game 41 und nicht wirklich pralle was die Stats angeht. Aber editieren will ich das ganze auch nicht. Gut ich packe ein El Gigante in die Shows der folgende Stats hat: 67 Over, 20 Brawl, 0 Speed, 0 Technik, 60 Charisma. Ist also eine ziemlich null, aber momentan müssen noch ein paar heranreifen in meiner Talentschmiede

The referee bumps after catching a wild right hand and is down. Power drive elbow by Z-Man. That sounds like a feature on a 4 x 4, doesn't it. Cover, but there's no one to count for Z-Man! Eaton backdrops Z-Man out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Bobby Eaton. Bobby Eaton with a spinning neckbreaker on Z-Man. Z-Man takes a NICE hurrancarana from Bobby Eaton. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tiger suplex on Z-Man. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, Bloody Hell! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Eaton charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Eaton takes a NICE hurrancarana from Z-Man. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Eaton reverses a waistlock. Brian Pillman just slid into the ring out of nowhere! Bobby Eaton gets grabbed, and they start brawling. Z-Man takes some shots at Eaton as well. The referee, seeing the chaos, calls for a no contest ruling. We have a three-way stand off in the ring, as Bobby Eaton, Z-Man and Brian Pillman look at each other. They all charge forward, and a three-way brawl erupts in the ring! This is chaos! After a few minutes of fast and furious action, a motley crew of referees and stagehands hit the ring to break it up.
My Opinion: This was such a good match, it caused star ratings to magically appear... ****1\4

The camera shows the outside of the locker room of Big Van Vader. Arn Anderson appears, knocks, then enters, closing the door behind him.
Backstage, a crowd is forming around Rick Steiner, who has been knocked unconscious and left down and out. Paramedics come over to help, although nobody seems to know who was responsible for the attack.

Stan Hansen strikes Missy Hyatt with a hard blow. Tag between Stan Hansen and Larry Zbyszko. Zbyszko \ Hansen whip Hyatt into the corner. Larry Zbyszko whips Stan Hansen in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. There's a two count on the pin. Tiger bomb by Larry Zbyszko, which is nowhere near as cool as a botched Pedigree but gets the job done. There's a two count on the pin. Larry Zbyszko gets taken down out of nowhere! Missy Hyatt connects on Larry Zbyszko with a flurry in the corner...but no one seems to care. Larry Zbyszko is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Tag between Larry Zbyszko and Barry Windham. Windham hits a right hand. Bodyslam by Windham. Covers for a quick two count. Massive lariat! Stan Hansen would approve. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Windham tags out to Larry Zbyszko. Windham \ Zbyszko whip Hyatt into the ropes and hit a double backdrop. A Gut buster connects on Hyatt and hits hard. Zbyszko charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Tag to El Gigante. BIG clothesline from El Gigante. 'BIG' because it missed by a mile! Tag between Larry Zbyszko and Barry Windham. El Gigante hits a weak elbow on Barry Windham. BIG clothesline from El Gigante. 'BIG' because it missed by a mile! Tag to Stan Hansen. Punch by El Gigante, missing Hansen COMPLETELY. I'm just glad thatHansen didn't sell it. El Gigante misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Hansen DDTs El Gigante. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! El Gigante powers out of a headlock. El Gigante tags out to Missy Hyatt. Missy Hyatt hits a BIG clothesline for two! Missy Hyatt hits a sloppy ass bulldog off the ropes. Hyatt tags out to El Gigante. El Gigante \ Hyatt hook up Hansen, then hit a double suplex. Stan Hansen avoids a El Gigante avalanche by getting out of the damn way! El Gigante slams Hansen, who rolls onto his stomach. What is Stan Hansen doing? El Gigante picks him up and signals for a powerbomb. He raises Hansen up...but then falls backward, getting crushed by his opponent in the process! Stan Hansen is on top! 1....2....3! Looking at the replay, it appears that Hansen had taken a chain out of his tights and wrapped it around his fist! El Gigante must have been punched with that chain while in mid-powerbomb! What a cheap shot!
My Opinion: If it weren't for two great moments in this match, it would have gotten a DUD. Either way, all its getting from me is a 1\2*.
Winner: Windham, Zbysko & Hansen
Scott Steiner is in the ring. Out from the back comes Sid Vicious, and he slides in. They begin brawling. From the crowd comes Dan Spivey, who joins in the attack on Scott. The two-on-one attack leaves Scott Steiner down on the mat, hurt.
Big Van Vader vs. Lex Luger
Lex Luger is the reigning WCW United States champion. Luger hits a right hand. Flying shoulder tackle by Luger sends Vader CRASHING to the mat. Hooks the leg for a two count. Big Van Vader avoids a Lex Luger avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Fallaway slam by Big Van Vader puts down Lex Luger. Luger gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Flying shoulder tackle by Vader sends Luger CRASHING to the mat. Big Van Vader gets taken down out of nowhere! Spear by Lex Luger. Lex Luger has Big Van Vader down on the canvas. Here it comes...Torture Rack! Big Van Vader is almost unconscious with pain! Arn Anderson quickly comes running down the aisle and into the ring! Lex Luger turns around. Arn Anderson spins Luger around. Arn Anderson hits the Spinebuster! The referee calls for the DQ because of the interference of Anderson! Lex Luger fights back, and has soon sent both Big Van Vader and Arn Anderson into retreat.
My Opinion: It was close to a ** match, but I just can't stand too many blown spots. *3/4

Ric Flair and Sting are in the ring on opposite sides of a table, about to sign a contract to face each other in an upcoming match. Ric Flair signs it. Sting also signs it, but is immediately attacked by Flair, who drives the table into his ribs. Ric Flair floors Sting. Here it comes...Figure Four Leglock! Sting is almost unconscious with pain! Ric Flair walks off, having won this battle.
